Original brown publisher’s cloth stamped in black, with gold text on spine. Mild wear to spine, joints, and corners. Front hinge starting to loosen slightly. Rear hinge cracked. Joints intact. Clean, bright, and tight, with one marginal stain and minimal toning. 678 pages. 

 

The author, Archibald Alexander Hodge (July 18, 1823 – November 12, 1886) was the principal of Princeton Seminary (1878-1886) and a Presbyterian Minister. He is a son of Charles Hodge (December 27, 1797 – June 19, 1878) who was Principal of Princeton Seminary from 1851 – 1878. A. A. Hodge published this book first in 1866. 

SC Hodge, Samuel C Hodge was Chairman of the Committee at Hazleton, Pa., Apr. 17, 1912, in sessions of the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America.
