Folio in full early vellum. Five raised bands and brown leather title label with gold text on spine. Approximately 3 inch split at top of front joint/hinge, and 1 inch split at bottom of front joint/hinge. Small lacuna in vellum of front board. A few scuffs on rear. Scattered spattered stains of both boards. Boards splaying. Early writing in ink on top, fore, and bottom edges (barely visible at bottom) of text block. Red speckled page edges. Thumbed at fore-edge. Ffep and title with a bit ragged fore-edges. Library stamp on title, first few pages of prelims, and folio 99. Annotations, marginalia, and underlining in an early hand throughout. Damp stain involving most of the Old Testament. Temoin at folio 50. Title and Eusebian canons in red and black. Set in two columns. Black letter. Margins ruled in black. Decorative capitals. Engraving on verso of 227. Engraving on verso of bb6. Vignette on folio 141. Numerous small illustrations throughout. No loose pages. Binding tight.
