Full brown mottled calf with red title plate on spine as well as gold details on spine and boards. Dentelles. Marbled end papers. Green ribbon intact and at full title. Spine and hinges scuffed and approximately 1 ½ inch crack at bottom of front hinge. Leather cracked at corners. Internal hinges intact. A clean, bright, and tight copy in good to very good condition. Measures approximately 6 ¾ x 3 ¾ x 1 1/8 inches. 

Cornelius Celsus work was written circa 30 AD and is the oldest known western medical document after that of Hippocrates.
