Octavo. Early speckled brown calf, respined, probably in 20th century. Raised bands and red title label on spine. Corner’s bumped and chipped. Boards and bottom of text block scuffed. Book slightly cocked. Joints strong. Red speckled page edges. Hinges cracking. Minimal toning or foxing. Rare small marginal smudges. Margins large. One inch tear at bottom of one plate. Clean, bright, and tight throughout.

Thomas Coe (1704 – 1761). This title in Welcome and Osleriana. ESTC T117575. Not in Heirs or G-M. The author states in his preface that he knew of no other book dedicated solely to the topic. The chapters discourse on bile, formation of stones, signs, consequences, and cure.
