Quarto in original vellum over board. Faint manuscript title on spine. Vellum splitting at fore edge of front board. End papers a bit ragged and wrinkled. Scattered small inscription in early hand(s) on prelims. Paperclip stain at top edge of a few prelims. Decorative capitals and tail pieces. First five figures hand colored, with addition of blood flowing from crucifixion injuries. Titles, plates, and text pages clean, bright, and tight throughout. 

 

Two works bound as one. The first being Lipsius’ famous and oft-cited work on crucifixion. The second on miracles of the virgin Mary. 

 

Ffep, two blanks, title, A-E^4, F, E2-E4, F-N^4, title, *-L^4, M^6, three blanks, rfep.
