Tome Premier: Introduction – Resections en General avec 127 Figures dans le texte, Paris 1885; Tome Deuxieme: Resection en Particulier – Membre Superieur avec 136 Figures dans le texte (de 128 a 283), Paris 1888; Tome Troisieme (fin de l’ouvrage.) Resections en Particulier – Membre Inferieur Tete et Tronc avec 225 Figures dans le texte (de 284 a 508), Paris 1891. Three demiquarto volumes volumes uniformly bound in quarter red leather with red marbled paper over boards. Raised bands and gold text on spines. Marbled end papers. Bindings tight. Text blocks clean and bright with occasional neat neat pencil underlining. Mild focal damp stain-like discoloration on spines. Mild scuffing of leather at top corners. Mild damp stain on title and half title of volume two.  Traces of original binding in front and rear gutters of volume one. 1912 prior owner’s signature. Text in French. Three volumes illustrated with 491 images of anatomy, pathology, and surgery, particularly orthopedics of the upper and lower limbs. Louis Xavier Edouard Leopold Ollier was a pioneer of bone allograft and skin graft. His name is immortalized in Ollier’s disease (a form of dyschondroplasia) and in Ollier’s layer (osteogenic layer of periostium).
