Green cloth, blind embossed. Rebacked with remnant of original spine laid down. Corners bumped and split. A few small stains on rear board. Yellow end papers. Hinges with tape repairs. 19th century owner's name in ink on ffep. Penciled annotation on verso of ffep. Four monochromatic plates bound at front of book. Numerous monochromatic figures throughout text. Mild toning and foxing. End matter and ads more significantly toned. Binding tight.
