Duodecimo in original vellum over board with slightly yap edges. Manuscript title on spine. Scattered toning and staining of boards. Front hinge cracked. Ffep and engraved title toned with someone ragged edges. Early owner’s inscriptions and signatures. Book plate on verso of engraved title. A few small smudges. Marginal damp stain throughout. A few small marginal and corner tears. Text is clean and bright. Binding tight. Decorative capitals and head and tail pieces. H8 is title for De Foetus formatione. V1 is third title page. S11-S12 unopened. X3 & X4 bound out of sequence.
