Early 19th century owner’s signature on title page. Black and white and color lithographic plates. Tipped in note on a 20th century slip of personal letterhead presenting this volume to Walter Garst (a plastic surgeon) from Gary C. Burget, M. D. on Dec 28, 1972. Some penciled arithmetic on first half title. 

Topics in this volume include general medicine, surgery, medical jurisprudence, etc. Includes an article by famous toxicologist M. Orfila as well as a case report of belladonna poisoning.
