Full brown leather (prize binding?) with raised bands and red title label on spine. Else stamped black and gold. Leather scuffed. Tear at head of spine. Label partially absent, remnant peeling. Red page edges. Hinges strong. Marbled end papers. Library sticker on ffep. 1886 ownership note in ink on half title. Errata slip bound in between contents and introduction. Some minor soiling of front and rear blanks. Otherwise, clean, bright, and tight throughout. lvi, 378. 
 
Brooke Foss Westcott (January 12, 1825 – July 27, 1901) is famous for his co-editorship of the Westcott-Horst critical editions of the Greek New Testament.
