Rebacked octavo in brown leather. Repurposed boards (likely 16th century, continental?) with metal furniture. Straps lost. Hasps present. Faint gold text on front board: P S*S. Red and gold title plate on spine. Four raised bands. Interior hinges reinforced. Some mild toning at edges of fly leaves, as well as the head of some leaves from 1 Corinthians and following. Slight marginal ink smudge on final OT verso. A few leaves with tiny folds at corners (mostly in Exodus and Ezekiel). Otherwise clean, bright, and tight throughout. Margins well-retained. 18th century inscription on front paste down indicates this was a prize book. Four title pages. BCP bound at front. OT, NT, Whole Book of Psalms. Verso on last leaf of OT gives a table of Scripture weights and measures.
